Our Custom Home Construction Process
Step One
At Black Rock Construction, our goal is to build your custom dream home at a price that makes sense for you and your family. Whether you already have plans, or just have an idea, our in-house custom design team is ready to make those ideas reality.
Step Two
After initial design consultation, our in-house designers can typically finalize construction documents in 60-90 days. This process leaves you with a full set of construction documents ready for the estimating process at a fraction of the time & costs of architects.
Step Three
With the construction documents finalized, the next step in the journey to building your custom home is the estimating process. This typically takes roughly 4-6 weeks.
Step Four
Once the estimation process is complete, our team puts together a full bid package for our clients. This package includes a cost to build, general specifications list, and also and full notebook with photos and product information on the exact materials to be included in your home. No surprises! This gives our customers reassurance and peace of mind knowing exactly what is going into their dream home.
Step Five
Once our client approves the bid package provided to them, we get right to work on a construction contract. Once we have a signed contract, it is time to start building! We hope you choose the great team here at Black Rock Construction to build your dream home for you!
